Michael Vitarelli

Co-President, High Rise Fire and Security

Mr. Vitarelli is Co-President of High Rise Fire and Security and his extensive knowledge and expertise in protection services spans more than two decades.  Mr. Vitarelli actively supports several organizations including Cooley’s Anemia Foundation, Saint Ann’s Church of Staten Island, Society of Saint Vincent DePaul, Project Hospitality, and the Staten Island University Hospital. In his spare time, he also enjoys motor sports, and has raced competitively in both the Ferrari Challenge Series and the MX5 Cup series. Mr. Vitarelli received a B.A., in Business from St. John’s University.

Robert Aiello

Co-President, High Rise Fire and Security

Mr. Aiello is Co-President of High Rise Fire and Security, and he brings more than three decades of experience in detection services to the business. Mr. Aiello actively supports several organizations including Cooley’s Anemia Foundation and Staten Island University Hospital. He has worked in the sales and project management aspect of the life safety industry since 1989, and served in this capacity for several years before co-founding High Rise. Mr. Aiello is a graduate of DeVry Technical Institute where he studied Electronics Engineering. He currently resides with his wife and two children in Staten Island.

Sol Ayoub

Vice President of Project Operations, High Rise Fire and Security

Mr. Ayoub is Vice President of Project Operations at High Rise Fire and Security. He started his professional engineering career at High Rise Fire in 1999 at the age of 25 as a Project Engineer and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2011.  Sol is a graduate of State University of New York at Farmingdale where he studied Electrical Engineering.  He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBB) and is Certified Engineering Technologist by National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies. Sol is also a third degree black belt in Korean Martial Arts and actively trains and teaches martial arts to students of all age groups. He lives with his wife and two children on Long Island.

Moises Ruiz

Vice President of Strategic Development, High Rise Fire and Security

Mr. Ruiz is Vice President of Strategic Development of High Rise Fire and Security. Moises began his career at a national low voltage systems integrator. His love of learning and desire to continue his education led him to the NBFAA where he pursued a fire alarm system installation education. He began his professional career at High Rise Fire in 1999 at the age of 22 as an Account Executive and in 2009, was promoted to VP of Strategic Development. The role has also provided him with the opportunity to serve clients: one of his lifelong passions. Moises actively supports several organizations including the Wounded Warrior Project and Smile Train. He currently resides on Long Island with his family.

Andy Leong

Manager of Engineering, NICET LEVEL IV #116052, High Rise Fire and Security

Mr. Leong is Manager of Engineering at High Rise Fire and Security. He started his professional engineering career at High Rise Fire in 2001 as a Project Engineer and was promoted to Manager of Engineering in 2011. Andy is a graduate of State University of New York at Stony Brook where he received a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering & Applied Mathematics. He has worked on a variety of large and small commercial, institutional and residential projects. He has certified experience with several different types of Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV systems, Nurse Call systems & Access Control Systems.
He also is a Level IV Certified Engineering Technologist in Fire Alarm System by National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBB). Mr. Leong is responsible for Building Code consulting, report writing, Quality Control & shop drawing reviews. He also provides assistance in Fire Alarm System Design with necessary code requirement.
